 At the 2026 edition of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2026, Priyanka Chopra Jonas headlined a featured session titled “Building Legacy: Moving Culture through Originality and Borderless Expression.” The talk took place on June 24 and was moderated by Leah Wyar. 

The discussion focused on how stories, films, and brands can travel across cultures without losing their authenticity. Priyanka emphasized that originality—not broad, one-size-fits-all appeal—is what allows creative work to resonate globally. The session explored themes such as:

• Preserving cultural identity while reaching international audiences.

• Building creative conviction instead of diluting ideas for mass acceptance.

• Developing genuine cultural fluency and respect when working across borders.

• Creating a lasting legacy through authentic storytelling and entrepreneurship.

During the session, Priyanka drew on her experiences as the founder of Purple Pebble Pictures and discussed breaking industry barriers while producing globally relevant content. She also shared insights from projects including The Bluff and her broader journey as an actor, producer, and entrepreneur.
